About This Campaign
We desperately need your help! 🙏 Beautiful George is a British Bulldog who recently came into our care. He had lived happily with his family since he was a puppy then found himself in kennels. George arrived stressed and confused. While some dogs adapt well to kennel life, George really struggled. With time, patience, and care, he slowly began to settle and started to show his cheeky personality. Since being in our care, George has been neutered. Due to his breed, this required specialist anaesthesia and cost almost £500! He recovered well and had been doing brilliantly - until yesterday. George began being sick and wasn't going to the toilet. We monitored him closely, but the vomiting continued. This morning he was taken to our vets, where X-rays showed that his food is not digesting properly and has nowhere to go. George now needs surgery. Our vets have estimated the cost will be in excess of £2,000. January is our hardest month for fundraising following Christmas, we are heartbroken. George is still at the vets, and we don't yet know how high his bill may be - this is a huge worry for us. We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, if anyone would be willing to donate towards George's care. Every single penny will make a difference and help give this beautiful boy the chance he so desperately deserves.
