Dougal

Available at our kennels based in Lancaster. Meet Dougal! Dougal came to us from Bosnia thanks to Renata and her amazing rescue team. He’s just over a year old now, and what a journey he’s had! When he first arrived at 9 months old, he was absolutely terrified – even a little defensive. But slowly, watching how the other dogs enjoyed cuddles and love, his curiosity took over his fear. Bit by bit, he learned that people can be kind. Now, Dougal’s still a little timid at first, but once he trusts you, he’s a joy. He walks beautifully on the lead, gets along well with other dogs, and has no health issues. He just needs someone patient and gentle – someone who’ll give him love, consistency, and a few clear boundaries. With that, Dougal will blossom into the most loyal and loving companion.
