Ursu

Ursu, whose name means 'bear' in Romanian, has had a tough start, like many of our rescues. He is 7 years old and spent most of his life on the streets before being brought to the UK just before Christmas. Unfortunately, he was mismatched with an adopter who, despite good intentions, wasn't physically strong enough to handle him. He is medium build, weighing around 30kg, neutered, and fully vaccinated. He’s a big fluff ball and very sweet-natured but can be a little wary with new friends and dogs. He needs a human who can guide him not to be frightened in this world, after naturally being so distrusting of everyone and everything in his old life. Sally and Craig in Lancaster are working hard with Ursu to bring out his beautiful personality, and he has met their dogs Kimmie, Bailey, and Ebby, which has gone well.
